Kralendijk, April 2st 2026-Water- en Energiebedrijf Bonaire (WEB) informs the public that the delivery of drinking water by water trucks is currently experiencing technical difficulties, resulting in delays for customers who depend on water delivery by truck.
Due to logistical constraints, critical parts required to repair the water trucks are taking longer than expected to arrive. As a result, not all trucks are currently operational.
At this time, WEB is continuing water delivery using an 8 m³ (8,000-liter) water truck, which is leading to longer delivery times than usual. Our teams are working around the clock to maintain service as much as possible and minimize inconvenience to customers.
To ensure continuity of service, colleagues will also be working during the holidays to reach all customers who rely on water delivery by truck for their daily needs.
WEB expects to receive a new water truck by the end of this month. By that time, the remaining truck is also expected to be fully repaired, strengthening our capacity to meet the growing demand for water delivery by truck.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this situation may cause. We assure the community and all customers who depend on water delivery by water truck that this situation has our full attention and that we are working hard to resolve it.
